Joint Sense was my passion to provide my clients with an affordable joint solution for their horses.

I am a passionate bodyworker and competitive rider that understands that nutrition directly impacts performance and muscle health. The horse only has one set of joints, and ensuring these are cared for through maintenance nutrition directly links to muscle health and my role in supporting performance.

I was finding that many of my clients were having trouble navigating the array of joint products on the market. My passion for providing a holistic service to clients led to my research and engagement with a nutritionist to trial a supplement, which ultimately was a huge success.

The product grew in popularity with my clients and I expanded the production in August 2024! My goal was to source bulk suppliers whilst keeping production, packaging and advertising local to keep costs lower for owners.

Horses are an expensive passion and I didn’t want their longevity impacted by the affordability of quality ingredients.

Glucosamine Sulphate

Glucosamine is the basic building block of all connective tissues.

Chondroitin Sulfate

Chondroitin sulphate is a chain of various sugar molecules found in cartilage and is commonly paired with glucosamine in supplements. It is believed to inhibit the enzymes associated with cartilage degeneration.

Hydrolysed Collagen

Collagen is the fundamental protein of cartilage, bone, tendons and ligaments – with a central role in the synthesis, repair and maintenance of joint cartilage.

Green Lipped Mussel Powder

Source of glucosamine, chondroitin, omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, Vitamins C and E, minerals such as zinc, copper, iodine and manganese.

I have collated and written two blogs for anyone who wants to understand more about supplements.

The grind on joint supplements – helps navigate owners to choose the right product on the market (This may not be Joint Sense depending on your horses needs and base diet)

The low down on joint supplement ingredients – explains the different ingredients and how they work. Helping owners to understand what they spend their money on.

Joint Sense works out at $2.13 a day, whilst similar products on the market cost closer to $3 a day. You can compare popular products here!
